Water hose fun!

It's so fun to be outside now!! Instead of getting on a swimsuit while Daddy watered the garden it is of course more fun to run thru it in your clothes. Abby had a blast letting Stephen get her wet. She always sticks out that tongue when she's in water for some reason?? We can't wait for our tomatoes to get here this year. Maybe every night will be water the garden/bathe Abby outdoors night!

Corn...finally!

Here's Abby finally eating corn! She wouldn't touch it on or off the cob until now. Corn is one of my favorite summer foods...2nd to watermelon...so I'm glad she's open to the idea of chowing down on it now!!

Happy Memorial Day!

Meme and Poppy came to visit us for the long weekend. They brought us some of my grandmother's furniture which are great additions to our dining room and living room. We got some home stuff done with the help of Dad's expertise and tools...crown molding in the downstairs bedroom and bathroom YAY! We enjoyed a nice picnic downtown where my all time favorite flowers were starting to bloom...wish our hydrangea bushes at home looked that great.

We finally got some recent, decent family pics this weekend. Downtown is such a great place to pose, so we did! And thanks to Poppy (my dad) we have some nice ones of the 3 of us...well 4 of us if you count the little peanut!!

Nap Issues!

Prayer request: That Abby will not give up her only nap! She's always been a difficult napper, but we were doing really well for awhile. Now she skips the afternoon nap every few days. I selfishly need her to nap so I can nap...this pregnancy is making me sleepy! Anyway, here are a few pics from the other day when she decided not to nap.

Doesn't she look tired? No, she never does. Skipping naps only affects ME for some reason!!!

December 11th

We're expanding! We just had our 1st dr. appt this morning. We're almost 9 weeks and little peanut #2 is due December 11th! We're very excited! We would love your prayers as we journey thru this pregnancy. Praise God for allowing us to participate in bringing forth new life.
