Nothing like girlfriends!

Playing with her girlfriends....and oh the highs and lows! Girls are truly dramatic from the start!! Sharing is a tough thing right now....as is sitting still for a picture...but we managed to get these pics with our friends this week. I really enjoy the mom time!!!

Catherine & Abby

Sophie, Grace & Abby (formerly known as The Dixie Chics--We miss the Schulze & Peagler families!!!!)

1st Haircut!

Abby has had some scraggly (is that a word?) hair for awhile now, but I just wasn't ready to cut it until today! We went in for our 1st cut at JellyBeans kiddie salon where the first time is only a penny!! I was prepared with her bunny, lollipops, snacks, etc. because I thought she'd fuss. She wouldn't sit alone in the chair until afterwards so I sat with her and she did great playing with a toy. Our "stylist" didn't take much off, maybe an inch, and we left the bang area alone to continue growing out. So you may not even be able to tell much in the pics, but we have the certificate and little baggy of hair to prove it!

Finally Playdough

Yes, yes, maybe I'm a bad mom, but it's taken me almost 22 months to actually get Abby her own playdough and to brave whatever messes might occur. However, I actually think I may have made her a neat freak! She'll poke it and help use the cookie cutters, but she's not into having it stick to her fingers. In fact she's apparently into drinking it?!

Fort Fun

She's really been loving building forts so we've been reconstructing this one daily in her room. Bunny and snowman accompany her of course and sometimes there's a wild tea party.

Mr. Potato Head...or Abby Head??

Just a funny little moment the other day...I love watching her play!!

The B-I-B-L-E

During most of our 1/2 hour trip to BabiesRUs today Abby kept reciting something over and over again. I told her I didn't understand her, but that I thought it sounded like a pretty song I'd like to learn. We got in the car and I asked her to sing it again for me and I finally figured it out. The past few days I've been singing the Bible song to her: "The B-i-b-l-e. That's the book for me. I stand alone on the word of God. The B-i-b-l-e." So see if you can see tell that's what she's singing...we think it's pretty close!!
